I have spent more than 25 years leading at the highest level - as a Chief Executive, Managing Director, Controller, Commissioner, Executive Producer and Board Director. I have built companies, led through change, managed talent at every level, and navigated the full range of pressures that go with these roles.

My personal coaching will empower you with different ways of thinking to meet personal and organisational goals.Coaching is a process of guided support. I will work with you to unlock your own thinking, identify what is getting in your way, and find your own answers - helping you to navigate ambiguity, difficult stakeholders, and high-stakes change. Basically, coaching helps you think clearly and decide confidently. I will help you be better at whatever it is you want to do.

For organisations, my Executive Coaching will enhance your leadership teams, help them work more cohesively and empower them to lead with greater confidence and strategic clarity in every direction your business may take. Mentoring
Mentoring and coaching are related, but they are not the same - the difference matters. As a coach I work with you to find your own answers. Mentoring is different. As a mentor I draw directly from my own experience and am a sounding board, offering perspective and honest guidance. I can tell you what I have seen, learnt (both good and bad) and what I would do differently - because I have been there. I have made mistakes and excelled, I share both experiences with you. I offer both Coaching and Mentoring as separate disciplines. If you are interested, we can discuss which role is most useful to you. Some clients like to move between the two.
ABOUT ME
Why I coach
I have been privileged enough in my own career to have had coaching and found it to be a game changer. It helped me simply be better. Better as a leader, colleague, person and a higher achiever. I learned so much about myself and how to pay attention to others in a different way. It helped improve my relationships at work and understanding of what motives me and others around me. I have no doubt I became a better person to work for and with. Coaching also helped me with confidence and limiting beliefs – something some of us need help with sometimes.
That conviction is why I became a coach. And it is what I bring to every engagement, whether I am working with a Chief Executive, a Head of Department, a Manager stepping up for the first time, or someone preparing for the next stage of their career.
I have spent my career in demanding, high-stakes environments - as a Chief Executive, Managing Director, Controller, Commissioner, Executive Producer, and Board Director in very competitive and pressured environments. I have run companies and led large teams. I have made difficult decisions, managed complex relationships, and navigated the full spectrum of challenges that come with senior leadership. I didn’t always get it right. But I learnt from any mistakes.
I've learned, sometimes the difficult way, what it actually takes to lead, grow and improve. I trained as an executive coach because I wanted to do something with everything I’ve learned, not just move on to the next job. Coaching feels like the most direct way to put twenty plus years of hard-won experience to work for other people.
My background is in the media and creative industries, but I work across all environments. The principles are the same. I spent more than 25 years leading at the highest level. Previous roles include: Managing Director Spun Gold TV; CEO Rare TV; Controller ITV2, ITV3, ITV4; ITV Controller Entertainment; ITV1 Factual Commissioner; Director of Programmes Virgin; Factual Commissioner ITV1.
As an AC qualified coach, I now use all this experience to help others. I am quite informal, challenging when appropriate, warm, and always empathic.
